As our Behavioural Science Associate, Aishwarya brings a social psychology lens to last-mile, sticky challenges.

Through her previous post at Final Mile Consulting, Aishwarya gained invaluable experience combining behavioural science and human-centred design to tackle issues that impact vulnerable populations. Her work at Centre for Social and Behaviour Change at Ashoka University brought her face-to-face with central and state governments in India and the challenges of adapting design strategies for public policy and implementation. Through years working on issues across sexual and reproductive health, nutrition, and immunisation in South Asia and Africa, she has developed a deep appreciation for varied perspectives to understand the layers of human behaviour, which is what led her to Common Thread. 

Aishwarya holds a MSc in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Sussex and a BA in Economics from Christ University. Undeterred by failure, she claims every hobby that comes her way: dancing, singing, and painting, taking breaks only to ponder life’s endless ‘what-ifs’. She is based in Bangaluru and speaks English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
