Azza Satti
Azza curates experiences. As a creative facilitator, artist, and social change-maker, Azza has a talent for fostering moments that spark inspiration, connection and action.
She is currently the Head of Community Engagement at African Crossroads, a community of thinkers and doers at Hivos. Before that, she was the Creative Director at Statement Films, an American production company focused on the development, production and financing of film and television by African women filmmakers and content creators.
Azza spent ten years living in New York City, where she received an MA in Art and Public Policy from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a BA in Film & Media Studies from Hunter College. She is a former Critical Collaborations Fellow, a three-year fellowship at NYU that investigates the relationship between creativity and social change, engaging faculty members and local artists with practitioners based in six different continents.
Azza is fluent in English, French and Arabic and is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
